Meet Our Directors
Tim Page
Tim Page holds a BS in Music Education from Millikin University in Decatur, IL and a MS in Music Education from the University of Illinois. He began his teaching career in 1990 in Nashville, IL where he was the Music Director for Nashville Community High School. At Nashville, he was responsible for all performing ensembles, both vocal and instrumental as well as music appreciation and music theory. He came to Mt Zion in 1997 and serves as the 7-12 band director teaching most of the instrumental classes, music theory and a section of career orientation.
In his spare time, Mr. Page is an avid fisherman, loves basketball, and loves watching his kids grow up. Mr. Page's better half is his wife, Molly. They have 4 children, a dog, and (unfortunately) 2 cats. Mr. Page has served an adjudicator throughout Illinois, and has also spent much time playing and arranging music for worship bands in some area churches.

David Helm
Mr. Helm will begin his second year of teaching in the Mt. Zion School District. After several years of helping out with Band Camp, he will teach a new class this year for percussion only. He has a B.A. from Millikin University and a A.A. from Lincoln College. In 2007 Mr. Helm took the high school band to Richmond, Virginia to compete in the Dixie Classic Festival, while Mr. Page was attending the birth of his fourth child. He previously taught instrumental music at Tri-City Schools in Buffalo, Illinois. He lives in rural Mechanicsburg with his dog, Daisy. In his free time he enjoys fishing, camping, and performing with his various music groups.

Becky Seay
Becky Seay owner of the Royal Twirling Academy is the director of the Marching Color Guard.

Mike Fogarty
Mike Fogarty is the Band Director at the Intermediate School.
